THE PROJECT
Behind Bocerno there is a family project based upon a passion for organic agriculture and the products of the French regions.
Planting walnut trees, building an oil press and creating a range of organic walnut oils, this is all part of the desire to propose a product which is full of history and at the same time to modernize it and to make it by following precise values, while also respecting its heritage.

2019 : BOCERNO CREATED
In order to make the best possible oil at the beginning we asked established experts in the field to help us with the first bottles.
We selected organic extra white kernels from the Périgord co-operative, a guarantee of quality and traceability and a local production.
We pressed the kernels in a Périgord oil press with the highest reputation for quality and experience of cold pressing oils.
Finally we bottled the oil ourselves at our premises where we also stock the bottles, acquiring the official French Organic label AB.

Founder and Producer
From a wine growing family she has lived with agriculture since she was a little girl. Having spent her summers working the vendages or bottling on the family vineyard Charlotte developed a passion for eco responsible agriculture, organic food and walnutrition. Now she has found her place in the middle of the walnut groves of Périgord and in Bocerno a project which reflects her character and ambitions.
To manage it succesfully, Charlotte built a strong team that she will develop during the years, and which will help her face the challenges of this new journey :
